Everything the government gives to anyone is taken from someone else.

Convoluted Thinking: Liberals/progressives say cops are criminals, criminals are victims. Don’t work – get a free ride. Desecrating the nation’s flag is acceptable. Cross-dressers are heroes. And conservatives are responsible for all the problems in America.

A History Lesson

The 13^th Amendment to the Constitution abolished slavery – 100 percent of republicans in congress voted for it but only 23 percent of the democrats.

The 14^th Amendment gave American citizenship to freed slaves – 94 percent of republicans voted for it but zero democrats.

The 15^th Amendment gave the right to vote for blacks – 100 percent of republicans voted for it – zero democrats.

Commentary: During the Civil War, Christian ministers in the north continually beseeched President Abraham Lincoln to free the slaves. These men of God believed slavery was evil and shared their deep concerns with the President. In time, the President issued the Emancipation Proclamation which, in part, was because those courageous Christian ministers spoke out about the terrible evil of slavery.

Yet today, most Christian ministers in this land are silent on the great evils in our culture.

The Great Social Security Debacle

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) discovered 275,000 illegal aliens on Social Security and President Donald Trump has ordered all of them removed from the program. Here’s the problem:

In most so-called blue or liberal states, when anyone signs up for Social Security, they automatically have the right to vote in all elections. Note: Large numbers of these illegals voted in the past presidential election. And, of course, they voted for the democrats.

Commentary: A survey of Social Security benefits revealed startling waste, fraud, and abuse in the program. In 2022, under the previous administration, 24, 500 people over the age of 115 claimed $59 million in SS benefits; 28,000 between the ages of one and five years old, collected $254 million; and 9,700 with birthdates more than 15 years in the future received $69 million taxpayers’ money.

It's incredulous to think that people over 115 years old and even children were receiving social security checks. Someone fraudulently received the checks! Why was that allowed to happen? There was no oversight from former President Biden or the Congress. President Trump has ordered an investigation of why this was allowed to take place.

More Waste, Fraud, and Abuse

The U. S. Agency for International Development – during the Biden administration – gave $23 billion for projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Brazil.

USAID gave $2.5 million to support green energy businesses in Vietnam.

The organization gave another $2 million to support gender-affirming healthcare and LGBTQ advocacy in Guatemala.

Also, $1.5 million to promote DEI business policies in Serbia.

And $4.7 million to promote international labor standards in Ecuador.

The Department of Interior in the previous administration gave a $12 million grant for a pickleball complex in Las Vegas.

There are approximately 3-million government employes yet they have 4.5 million credit cards. The Government Accounting Office has identified widespread abuse of these cards including online dating, gambling at casinos, liquor, personal car payments, dental work, clothes, high-dollar women escorts, massage parlors, call girls, and many others. This reveals zero control over the issuance of the cards.

Faith Back in the White House

There is a resurgence of faith in the White House as President Trump established the White House Faith Office. This office planned an elaborate religious program for Holy Week and invited the Rev. Franklin Graham to speak at the Easter Prayer Dinner for White House staff and others.

The President recognized the beginning of Holy Week as Jesus Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection, saying, “History was forever changed in the moment of Jesus Christ’s resurrection.’

This is quite a contrast to the Holy Week the year before when, on Easter Sunday, then-President Biden declared the Transgender Day of Visibility. On that Easter Sunday he invited hundreds of homosexuals/lesbians/transgenders to the White House lawn for a celebration.

However, it turned into a Transgender Topless Show as one of the trans stripped and posed topless on the South Lawn and then took a selfie with the President while others danced and celebrated.

Commentary: Former President Biden moved this nation’s downward moral trajectory one step closer to Sodom and Gomorrah when he welcomed all of the homosexuals, lesbians, and transgenders to the South Lawn of the White House on Easter Sunday to honor them. It was a slap in the face to the millions of Christians who revere Easter as Resurrection Day of Jesus, one of the most holy days in Christian tradition and who believe that the lifestyles of those groups at the White House represent rebellion against God’s creation.

It appeared that the Biden administration had reached the moral point of no return. But President Trump immediately turned things around with the Faith Office and welcoming outstanding men of God to minister at the White House.

Also, he approved a weekly Prayer Meeting and Bible study for the White House staff.
